About this ebook

Veronica Miller is a plumber on a mission—buy out her dad and the family business is finally hers. One big, handsome problem stands in her way. And it's not a clogged toilet.

Jack Reid is the boy she crushed on in high school. Ten years ago, he broke her heart and skipped town. But now he's back, and he's definitely no longer a boy. He's all man—and he'd really like for Veronica to check out his pipe. Forced to being roommates, Jack and Veronica have to work through a decade of baggage, disappointment, wanting and unrequited lust.

Even though Veronica's heart hasn't yet forgiven Jack, they'll need more than a pillow berm down the middle of the bed to keep them apart.

In Montana Ice, the second book in the Small Town Romance series, it might be below zero, but Jack and Veronica heat things up.

Sometimes having a twin isn't fun. I felt for poor Veronica because she finds herself in come sticky situations. The events in this book made me laugh a lot. They're crazy, but for this couple so appropriate. The meeting of Veronica and Jake for the first time in ten years is quite memorable. This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. I'm glad Goldie is in this one too because she's hilarious. This grabbed me from the beginning and it was hard to put down. I'm looking forward to more from this series.

The second book in the Small Town Romance series starts off with a freaking hilarious bang … upside someone’s head! MONTANA ICE takes two people with past interactions and throws them together in a wild romp that had just as much hilarity and situations as the first book in the series. Veronica Miller is totally awesome. No girly girl here! She is a girl that always knew what she wanted and that was to be a plumber, and Jack Reid. But things happen and she only gets the plumbing company, that is until Jack walks back into her life and she knocks him on his butt, literally. Jack and Veronica together are like a matching being thrown on a flame … combustible! They spark off each other very well and are so perfect for each other. But there is always something that keeps them apart. But boy do they break down the wall and get to the bottom of the past, but now they have to figure out what the future holds for them. What ensues for our intrepid heroine and hero is a series of calamities that are off-putting and hilarious with misconceptions and love in spades. Definitely a great edition to the series. Goldie is awesome like normal and even a gnome makes a visit (gotta read the first book to understand that tidbit). All in all, a good and funny read!

UNTIL I COULD GET BACK TO YOU The second story in this new, Small Town Romance series was another page-turner, and yes, it has the sex shop, Goldilocks and the owner, Goldie, in the story. The story has many laughing out loud moments, some angst, anger, misunderstandings, troublemakers, and then throw in identical twin sisters and the pot gets stirred with problems. Veronica Miller is the girl who followed in her father’s career, and has trained as a plumber and even has bought the business from him. On the side, she works at Goldilocks for Goldie. Due to a fire in her home, she is staying at her twin sister’s house. Jack Reid will get a call from his Uncle telling him he needs help. So Jack will leave Miami and return to Bozeman to discover he can’t stay at his Uncle’s home but a message that he is to stay at Violet’s and the key is under the mat. The plot will have Veronica hear someone coming into the house, and knowing that Violet is away at a conference. All she can see is that it is a man and grabs something to attack him. The wooden paddle may have knocked him out, but then she sees who it is, Jack Reid. There is so much angst between Veronica and Jack after what happened at the end of high school. He asked her out then ditched on her and went out with Violet. The story will have a strange woman following Veronica around and watching her; she will even break into Violet’s home while Veronica is at work. A confrontation will have the woman accusing Veronica of trying to steal her husband from her, but nothing makes sense. When two people talk about the past, they discover that the same person did both of them wrong, but now ten years have passed, and hard feelings have clouded their judgment. “Don’t rub the lamp if you don’t want the genie to come out.” If you read Montana Heat, you know about Goldie, and also that she has her helpers do home sex toy parties. Veronica will host a party for a group of men, and Jack will be present. Also, the gnome will have a starring role again in this story. Will Veronica and Jack be able to address the past and talk about the present? Is there a chance for them with a future, or will he just be leaving again to go back to Miami? Have ten years dampened the love they had as teenagers? Jack is leaving, but they have this night, do they avoid what they want or give in to the love and passion they feel for each other? “He’d still be in my heart. But this night, this time together, was ours. The outside world—Violet, Crazy Lady Lorraine, lawsuits—was just that. Outside. Here, in my bedroom, it was finally, once and for all, just me and Jack. I saw love. Lust, too. That combination, knowing he wanted me, body and soul, was the most amazing feeling ever. Knowing he felt it too made it even better.”
