This book was previously released, as a short story, in a box set named Alien alphas. This version is quite a bit longer and has more details but is still the same story. I've read both versions and I really enjoyed reading the story again; the add on are great and make it a more complete story, however some people might not like it since the story stays the same. Overall i found It's a good book with lots of steamy D/s scenes, it' well written and the characters are well developped. In the story Elena gets to explore her submissive side, but also has to learn to use her sexy side and strengthe to get her happily ever after. Both characters will have to overcome their insecurities, take chances and learn to trust. This book is part of the interstellar brides series. Each books can be read as stand-alone, however I would recommend reading the others Everis books ( His virgin mate , His virgin Bride) to get the full pictures since the characters are somewhat connected. I was given an arc copy for an honest review, but also decided to purchased the book to support the author
